But, just a reminder, don’t let both mommas sit in the same area because they will fight over the babies and even kill the babies. I don’t know if that is a normal thing to happen but it happened to me with two Silkie moms. I let my broody hen sit for about a week or so before I move the mom and her eggs to a “maternity ward” away from the other hens.
