A Curly Hair Revolution by Mixed Chicks®

My hair is a real pain in the butt. I’m not of a multiracial descent, but tell that to my hair! It’s very coarse, very thick, wavy, frizzy and virtually has a mind of its own. I loathe my hair, yet stylists, and even a nurse recently in the OR, have always told me how gorgeous, and shiny it is. Though, they don’t care for it daily, so maybe they can appreciate it a little more than I can. ® reached out to us and asked if anyone wanted to try to out their hair care products, and I quickly said yes.

Mixed Chicks® has an entire line of goodies for everyone! Whether you’re black, white, asian, latin, or any mix of those and more, their products are for everyone! They have hair products such as shampoos, conditioners, leave in conditioners, and more. They have products for men and children as well! Mixed Chicks® also carries hair accessories, gifts, and even dolls! So many great items to choose from! For me, the best part was seeing that they are Vegan and Animal Cruelty Free. The animal cruelty is a big thing in my animal adoring family.

They sent me their of three. The set includes 2 ounces of their Shampoo, 2 ounces of Deep Conditioner, and 2 ounces of Leave In Conditioner. It even comes in a TSA friendly, see through, resealable bag, so it’s perfect for those on the go.

I tried the shampoo and deep conditioner the other night in the shower. I loved it. It was silky and smooth and the smell was amazing! After I got out, and got my hair all dried off, I then put some leave in conditioner into my ends, because they are always dry and tangled. I really liked it. It didn’t weigh heavy on my hair, and it was so much easier to brush it out. I always struggle to get my hair brushed, so it was nice to have a product that not only made it easier on me, but didn’t weigh my hair down and make it look greasy. I think I will be ordering bigger sized bottles, and setting this nice travel set aside for when we head to the beach this summer. We all know how salt water, sun and sand will damage your hair, so these will be a nice healing treatment for my tresses.

Quantity - you must order a certain number of chicks. Typically hatcheries will require you buy a minimum of 25 chicks at a time. The number is necessary for the chicks survival during shipping. All 25 chicks are put in one small box without heat. They are crowded in the box and produce enough body heat to arrive in good shape. * The wait - If you choose to buy chicks from a feed store you will have them the same day but if you choose to go with a hatchery you have to wait until they are ready to ship and then wait for the chicks to arrive. Ordering baby chicks online in Cool Ridge West Virginia is easy and has always been a very pleasant experience of me. It can be a little frustrating waiting for the chicks but it's so worth the wait. When the post office calls and you hear all those little "cheeps" or "chirps" in the background you'll know the wait was worth it! How to Care for your new baby chickens in Cool Ridge, West Virginia Baby chicks are extremely cute and also difficult to resist, but it's best to plan for their arrival prior to you get them. Prepare first by collecting not only the right materials, yet also the correct knowledge to look after them. Raising baby chicks is fairly simple, you merely should provide them with the following: A clean and warm habitat Plenty of food as well as water Interest and love Environment Your habitat can be an easy box, fish tank, pet cat carrier, or guinea pig cage. Line it with old towels as well as blankets (without loose strings!) to start, and also after a few weeks use straw over newspaper. Keep in mind: Avoid making use of only paper or other sandal surface areas-- or your chicks legs can grow misshapen. You likewise need something to serve up food and also water in, such as a chicken feeder and water dish from the feed store, or a pickle jar cover for food as well as an animal bird water dispenser from a pet store. Also, as the chicks grow older you could introduce a perch right into the habitat to get them trained on setting down. Heat To maintain your chicks heat you have to give them with a heat source. This could be as basic as a 100 watt light bulb in a reflective clamp design light from an equipment shop, or an infrared reptile warmth bulb additionally function extremely well (my referral). Chicks need this warmth 24/7 until their downy fluff is changed with feathers (which can occupy to two months). The recently hatched out require a temperature in between 90 and also 100 levels, and each week this could be reduced by about 5 levels approximately. The heat source should get on merely one side of the cage to allow chicks a range of temperatures. The chicks are your ideal thermostat- if they are concealing in the opposite edge of your heat lamp, you need to minimize the temperature. If they are smothering each various other under the heat (not merely snuggling), you should put some heat. Housekeeping Sanitation is vital and also it maintains your chicks healthy and balanced. Make certain to change the bed linens frequently and also consistently supply tidy food as well as water Food and also water. Chicks expand really quick which calls for a lot of tidy food and water. Give sufficient at all times and also check typically to prevent parched and hungry chicks. Chick food is various than adult chicken food, and it is available in both medicated as well as non-medicated ranges. Feed chick food for the very first two months, after that switch over to a raiser food (~ 17 % healthy protein) for another 2 months, and afterwards to a somewhat lower healthy protein feed or a level feed (if you have layers). Soil Some chicks like to obtain a head start on taking filth baths, while others will not take up that activity until they are older. If you have the space in your chick room, present a tray of sand or dust for them to bathe in. Focus and also love There are a couple of advantages to spending time with your chicks. First off, they will probably bond with you as well as not flee as adults. Second, if you examine your chicks daily and also enjoy their actions, you could catch ailment or various other troubles previously. Keep an eye out for hissing, limping, or other undesirable indicators. Be sure to also consider their poop, as diarrhea can result in matted plumes as well as clogged cloaca. Last but not least, it is very important to watch out for social problems, such as the littlest chick getting picked on. Vacant nest syndrome So your chicks are currently totally feathered and also its time for them to leave the security of your residence and move outside right into a coop. Check out our area on chicken cages to learn more concerning cages and correct coop habitats.
