A Curly Hair Revolution by Mixed Chicks®

My hair is a real pain in the butt. I’m not of a multiracial descent, but tell that to my hair! It’s very coarse, very thick, wavy, frizzy and virtually has a mind of its own. I loathe my hair, yet stylists, and even a nurse recently in the OR, have always told me how gorgeous, and shiny it is. Though, they don’t care for it daily, so maybe they can appreciate it a little more than I can. ® reached out to us and asked if anyone wanted to try to out their hair care products, and I quickly said yes.

Mixed Chicks® has an entire line of goodies for everyone! Whether you’re black, white, asian, latin, or any mix of those and more, their products are for everyone! They have hair products such as shampoos, conditioners, leave in conditioners, and more. They have products for men and children as well! Mixed Chicks® also carries hair accessories, gifts, and even dolls! So many great items to choose from! For me, the best part was seeing that they are Vegan and Animal Cruelty Free. The animal cruelty is a big thing in my animal adoring family.

They sent me their of three. The set includes 2 ounces of their Shampoo, 2 ounces of Deep Conditioner, and 2 ounces of Leave In Conditioner. It even comes in a TSA friendly, see through, resealable bag, so it’s perfect for those on the go.

I tried the shampoo and deep conditioner the other night in the shower. I loved it. It was silky and smooth and the smell was amazing! After I got out, and got my hair all dried off, I then put some leave in conditioner into my ends, because they are always dry and tangled. I really liked it. It didn’t weigh heavy on my hair, and it was so much easier to brush it out. I always struggle to get my hair brushed, so it was nice to have a product that not only made it easier on me, but didn’t weigh my hair down and make it look greasy. I think I will be ordering bigger sized bottles, and setting this nice travel set aside for when we head to the beach this summer. We all know how salt water, sun and sand will damage your hair, so these will be a nice healing treatment for my tresses.

Quantity - you must order a certain number of chicks. Typically hatcheries will require you buy a minimum of 25 chicks at a time. The number is necessary for the chicks survival during shipping. All 25 chicks are put in one small box without heat. They are crowded in the box and produce enough body heat to arrive in good shape. * The wait - If you choose to buy chicks from a feed store you will have them the same day but if you choose to go with a hatchery you have to wait until they are ready to ship and then wait for the chicks to arrive. Ordering baby chicks online in Harrington Washington is easy and has always been a very pleasant experience of me. It can be a little frustrating waiting for the chicks but it's so worth the wait. When the post office calls and you hear all those little "cheeps" or "chirps" in the background you'll know the wait was worth it! How to Care for your new baby chickens in Harrington, Washington Baby chicks are quite cute and challenging to stand up to, yet it's ideal to plan for their arrival before you obtain them. Prepare initially by compiling not just the appropriate products, but likewise the correct expertise to take care of them. Raising baby chicks is relatively easy, you simply have to supply them with the following: A clean and warm and comfortable habitat Plenty of food as well as water Attention and love Environment Your environment can be an easy box, fish tank, cat carrier, or guinea porker cage. Line it with old towels and coverings (with no loosened strings!) to start, and after a couple of weeks use straw over paper. Keep in mind: Avoid utilizing just paper or various other slipper surfaces-- or your chicks legs could grow misshapen. You additionally require something to serve up food and water in, such as a chicken feeder and water recipe from the feed shop, or a pickle jar lid for food and a pet dog bird water dispenser from a family pet shop. Likewise, as the chicks grow older you could introduce a perch into the habitat to get them trained on setting down. Warmth To keep your chicks warm you have to give them with a heat source. This could be as straightforward as a 100 watt light bulb in a reflective clamp design light from a hardware shop, or an infrared reptile heat bulb also function effectively (my recommendation). Chicks require this warmth 24/7 until their downy fluff is changed with plumes (which could use up to 2 months). The newly hatched require a temperature level in between 90 and 100 levels, as well as each week this can be reduced by about 5 levels approximately. The heat source need to get on merely one side of the cage to enable chicks a range of temperature levels. The chicks are your finest thermostat- if they are concealing in the other edge of your heat light, you have to reduce the temperature. If they are smothering each various other under the warmth (not simply curling up), you have to add some heat. Home cleaning Sanitation is key and it keeps your chicks healthy and balanced. Make certain to change the bed linens commonly and always give tidy food and water Food and water. Chicks grow really fast which calls for plenty of tidy food and also water. Supply sufficient at all times and check usually to stop parched and hungry chicks. Chick food is different compared to grown-up chicken food, as well as it comes in both medicated and also non-medicated varieties. Feed chick food for the very first two months, then switch over to a grower food (~ 17 % protein) for an additional 2 months, and after that to a somewhat lower healthy protein feed or a level feed (if you have levels). Dirt Some chicks want to get a running start on taking dirt baths, while others won't use up that activity until they are older. If you have the space in your chick enclosure, present a tray of sand or dust for them to wash in. Interest and love There are a few benefits to spending quality time with your chicks. Firstly, they will most likely bond with you as well as not run away as adults. Second, if you examine your chicks daily and also enjoy their behavior, you could capture disease or various other problems earlier. Keep an eye out for hissing, hopping, or various other harmful indicators. Make certain to likewise check out their poop, as diarrhea can cause matted plumes and obstructed cloaca. Lastly, it is necessary to watch out for social concerns, such as the smallest chick obtaining badgered. Empty nest syndrome So your chicks are now totally feathery as well as its time for them to leave the safety and security of your house as well as relocate outside into a coop. Look into our part on chicken cages for more information regarding cages as well as proper coop environments.
