A Curly Hair Revolution by Mixed Chicks®

My hair is a real pain in the butt. I’m not of a multiracial descent, but tell that to my hair! It’s very coarse, very thick, wavy, frizzy and virtually has a mind of its own. I loathe my hair, yet stylists, and even a nurse recently in the OR, have always told me how gorgeous, and shiny it is. Though, they don’t care for it daily, so maybe they can appreciate it a little more than I can. ® reached out to us and asked if anyone wanted to try to out their hair care products, and I quickly said yes.

Mixed Chicks® has an entire line of goodies for everyone! Whether you’re black, white, asian, latin, or any mix of those and more, their products are for everyone! They have hair products such as shampoos, conditioners, leave in conditioners, and more. They have products for men and children as well! Mixed Chicks® also carries hair accessories, gifts, and even dolls! So many great items to choose from! For me, the best part was seeing that they are Vegan and Animal Cruelty Free. The animal cruelty is a big thing in my animal adoring family.

They sent me their of three. The set includes 2 ounces of their Shampoo, 2 ounces of Deep Conditioner, and 2 ounces of Leave In Conditioner. It even comes in a TSA friendly, see through, resealable bag, so it’s perfect for those on the go.

I tried the shampoo and deep conditioner the other night in the shower. I loved it. It was silky and smooth and the smell was amazing! After I got out, and got my hair all dried off, I then put some leave in conditioner into my ends, because they are always dry and tangled. I really liked it. It didn’t weigh heavy on my hair, and it was so much easier to brush it out. I always struggle to get my hair brushed, so it was nice to have a product that not only made it easier on me, but didn’t weigh my hair down and make it look greasy. I think I will be ordering bigger sized bottles, and setting this nice travel set aside for when we head to the beach this summer. We all know how salt water, sun and sand will damage your hair, so these will be a nice healing treatment for my tresses.

When the post office calls and you hear all those little "cheeps" or "chirps" in the background you'll know the wait was worth it! How to Care for your new baby chickens in Chester, Utah Baby chicks are extremely adorable and hard to resist, however it's finest to plan for their arrival prior to you obtain them. Prepare initially by gathering not just the correct products, however additionally the proper understanding to take care of them. Raising baby chicks is relatively simple, you simply should give them with the following: A clean as well as warm habitat Lots of food and also water Interest and love Habitat Your environment could be a straightforward box, fish tank, cat provider, or guinea porker cage. Line it with old towels and blankets (without any loosened strings!) to begin, and also after a couple of weeks use straw over newspaper. Note: Avoid using just newspaper or various other sandal surface areas-- or your chicks legs could grow misshapen. You also require something to dish out food and water in, such as a chicken feeder and water meal from the feed store, or a pickle container cover for food and a pet bird water dispenser from an animal shop. Likewise, as the chicks get older you could present a perch right into the habitat to obtain them trained on setting down. Warmth To maintain your chicks warm you have to give them with a heat resource. This can be as basic as a 100 watt light bulb in a reflective clamp style light from a hardware store, or an infrared reptile heat light bulb likewise work very well (my referral). Chicks require this heat 24/7 until their downy fluff is replaced with plumes (which could take up to 2 months). The newly hatched require a temperature in between 90 and 100 degrees, and each week this could be minimized by around 5 levels approximately. The warmth resource ought to get on simply one side of the cage to permit chicks a range of temperatures. The chicks are your ideal thermostat- if they are concealing in the opposite edge of your warmth light, you have to reduce the temperature. If they are smothering each other under the heat (not just snuggling), you need to put some heat. House cleaning Tidiness is crucial and it keeps your chicks healthy. Be sure to change the bed linens typically as well as constantly supply tidy food and also water Food as well as water. Chicks grow really fast which requires a lot of tidy food and also water. Supply sufficient whatsoever times and check typically to avoid parched and also starving chicks. Chick food is different compared to adult chicken food, as well as it comes in both medicated and non-medicated selections. Feed chick food for the very first two months, then change to a raiser food (~ 17 % protein) for an additional 2 months, then to a somewhat lower healthy protein feed or a layer feed (if you have layers). Dirt Some chicks like to get a head start on taking filth baths, while others will not occupy that activity up until they are older. If you have the area in your chick unit, present a tray of sand or dirt for them to wash in. Interest as well as love There are a couple of benefits to spending time with your chicks. To start with, they will certainly most likely bond with you and also not flee as adults. Second, if you analyze your chicks daily and also view their behavior, you could catch illness or various other issues previously. Keep an eye out for hissing, hopping, or other undesirable indications. Make certain to likewise take a look at their poop, as diarrhea can bring about matted plumes and blocked cloaca. Finally, it is important to look out for social concerns, such as the littlest chick getting teased. Vacant nest syndrome So your chicks are now fully feathered and its time for them to leave the safety and security of your house and also move outside into a cage. Look into our part on chicken cages to learn more about cages and also proper coop habitats.
