A Curly Hair Revolution by Mixed Chicks®

My hair is a real pain in the butt. I’m not of a multiracial descent, but tell that to my hair! It’s very coarse, very thick, wavy, frizzy and virtually has a mind of its own. I loathe my hair, yet stylists, and even a nurse recently in the OR, have always told me how gorgeous, and shiny it is. Though, they don’t care for it daily, so maybe they can appreciate it a little more than I can. ® reached out to us and asked if anyone wanted to try to out their hair care products, and I quickly said yes.

Mixed Chicks® has an entire line of goodies for everyone! Whether you’re black, white, asian, latin, or any mix of those and more, their products are for everyone! They have hair products such as shampoos, conditioners, leave in conditioners, and more. They have products for men and children as well! Mixed Chicks® also carries hair accessories, gifts, and even dolls! So many great items to choose from! For me, the best part was seeing that they are Vegan and Animal Cruelty Free. The animal cruelty is a big thing in my animal adoring family.

They sent me their of three. The set includes 2 ounces of their Shampoo, 2 ounces of Deep Conditioner, and 2 ounces of Leave In Conditioner. It even comes in a TSA friendly, see through, resealable bag, so it’s perfect for those on the go.

I tried the shampoo and deep conditioner the other night in the shower. I loved it. It was silky and smooth and the smell was amazing! After I got out, and got my hair all dried off, I then put some leave in conditioner into my ends, because they are always dry and tangled. I really liked it. It didn’t weigh heavy on my hair, and it was so much easier to brush it out. I always struggle to get my hair brushed, so it was nice to have a product that not only made it easier on me, but didn’t weigh my hair down and make it look greasy. I think I will be ordering bigger sized bottles, and setting this nice travel set aside for when we head to the beach this summer. We all know how salt water, sun and sand will damage your hair, so these will be a nice healing treatment for my tresses.

SCTypically hatcheries online offer both standard breeds and bantams. Bantams are fun hardy little chickens, they lay tiny eggs that kids especially love collecting. Bantams typically weigh less than 2 pounds when full grown. Just like ordering anything online there are pros and cons to ordering baby chicks online. Pros of buying baby chicks in Cameron South Carolina * Big Selection - If you are wanting a large variety of different chicken breeds and egg colors, you will find the best selection at an online hatchery. * Both Bantams and full sized chickens available * You get to choose what sex you want. Quantity - you must order a certain number of chicks. Typically hatcheries will require you buy a minimum of 25 chicks at a time. The number is necessary for the chicks survival during shipping. All 25 chicks are put in one small box without heat. They are crowded in the box and produce enough body heat to arrive in good shape. * The wait - If you choose to buy chicks from a feed store you will have them the same day but if you choose to go with a hatchery you have to wait until they are ready to ship and then wait for the chicks to arrive. Ordering baby chicks online in Cameron South Carolina is easy and has always been a very pleasant experience of me. It can be a little frustrating waiting for the chicks but it's so worth the wait. When the post office calls and you hear all those little "cheeps" or "chirps" in the background you'll know the wait was worth it! How to Care for your new baby chickens in Cameron, South Carolina Baby chicks are extremely adorable and also tough to stand up to, but it's best to plan for their arrival before you get them. Prepare initially by collecting not only the proper products, but also the appropriate understanding to take care of them. Raising baby chicks is reasonably basic, you simply should give them with the following: A tidy and also warm and comfortable habitat Lots of food as well as water Interest as well as love Environment Your environment can be an easy box, aquarium, feline carrier, or guinea pig cage. Line it with old towels and also blankets (without loose strings!) to begin, as well as after a few weeks use straw over newspaper. Note: Avoid utilizing just paper or other slipper surfaces-- or your chicks legs can grow misshapen. You likewise need something to serve up food and also water in, such as a chicken feeder as well as water dish from the feed store, or a pickle jar cover for food and a pet dog bird water dispenser from a pet dog store. Additionally, as the chicks get older you could present a perch right into the environment to get them educated on setting down. Heat To keep your chicks heat you should supply them with a heat source. This can be as simple as a 100 watt light bulb in a reflective clamp design lamp from a hardware shop, or an infrared reptile heat bulb additionally function very well (my referral). Chicks need this warmth 24/7 until their downy fluff is replaced with plumes (which can use up to two months). The freshly hatched out need a temperature level in between 90 as well as 100 degrees, and every week this can be lowered by approximately 5 levels approximately. The heat resource should get on simply one side of the cage to allow chicks an array of temperature levels. The chicks are your best thermometer- if they are concealing in the other corner of your heat lamp, you have to lower the temperature level. If they are surrounding each various other under the warmth (not simply curling up), you need to put some heat. House cleaning Sanitation is key as well as it keeps your chicks healthy. Make certain to change the bedding frequently and constantly provide clean food and also water Food as well as water. Chicks grow quite quickly which calls for a lot of clean food as well as water. Give enough in any way times as well as examine typically to avoid thirsty as well as hungry chicks. Chick food is different compared to adult chicken food, and it comes in both medicated as well as non-medicated selections. Feed chick food for the first 2 months, after that switch to a raiser food (~ 17 % healthy protein) for an additional 2 months, then to a slightly reduced healthy protein feed or a layer feed (if you have layers). Soil Some chicks like to obtain a head start on taking dust bathrooms, while others won't use up that activity until they are older. If you have the area in your chick enclosure, present a tray of sand or dust for them to bathe in. Focus and also love There are a couple of advantages to spending quality time with your chicks. Firstly, they will certainly more than likely bond with you as well as not run away as grownups. Second, if you analyze your chicks daily and also see their behavior, you can catch health problem or various other problems earlier. Watch out for hissing, hopping, or various other unhealthy indications. Make certain to likewise look at their poop, as diarrhea can lead to matted plumes and also stopped up cloaca. Finally, it is important to watch out for social concerns, such as the smallest chick getting teased. Empty nest disorder So your chicks are now fully feathered as well as its time for them to leave the safety of your residence and move outside right into a cage. Take a look at our area on chicken coops to read more regarding coops and proper cage habitats.
