A Curly Hair Revolution by Mixed Chicks®

My hair is a real pain in the butt. I’m not of a multiracial descent, but tell that to my hair! It’s very coarse, very thick, wavy, frizzy and virtually has a mind of its own. I loathe my hair, yet stylists, and even a nurse recently in the OR, have always told me how gorgeous, and shiny it is. Though, they don’t care for it daily, so maybe they can appreciate it a little more than I can. ® reached out to us and asked if anyone wanted to try to out their hair care products, and I quickly said yes.

Mixed Chicks® has an entire line of goodies for everyone! Whether you’re black, white, asian, latin, or any mix of those and more, their products are for everyone! They have hair products such as shampoos, conditioners, leave in conditioners, and more. They have products for men and children as well! Mixed Chicks® also carries hair accessories, gifts, and even dolls! So many great items to choose from! For me, the best part was seeing that they are Vegan and Animal Cruelty Free. The animal cruelty is a big thing in my animal adoring family.

They sent me their of three. The set includes 2 ounces of their Shampoo, 2 ounces of Deep Conditioner, and 2 ounces of Leave In Conditioner. It even comes in a TSA friendly, see through, resealable bag, so it’s perfect for those on the go.

I tried the shampoo and deep conditioner the other night in the shower. I loved it. It was silky and smooth and the smell was amazing! After I got out, and got my hair all dried off, I then put some leave in conditioner into my ends, because they are always dry and tangled. I really liked it. It didn’t weigh heavy on my hair, and it was so much easier to brush it out. I always struggle to get my hair brushed, so it was nice to have a product that not only made it easier on me, but didn’t weigh my hair down and make it look greasy. I think I will be ordering bigger sized bottles, and setting this nice travel set aside for when we head to the beach this summer. We all know how salt water, sun and sand will damage your hair, so these will be a nice healing treatment for my tresses.

Bantams typically weigh less than 2 pounds when full grown. Just like ordering anything online there are pros and cons to ordering baby chicks online. Pros of buying baby chicks in Prospect Park Pennsylvania * Big Selection - If you are wanting a large variety of different chicken breeds and egg colors, you will find the best selection at an online hatchery. * Both Bantams and full sized chickens available * You get to choose what sex you want. Quantity - you must order a certain number of chicks. Typically hatcheries will require you buy a minimum of 25 chicks at a time. The number is necessary for the chicks survival during shipping. All 25 chicks are put in one small box without heat. They are crowded in the box and produce enough body heat to arrive in good shape. * The wait - If you choose to buy chicks from a feed store you will have them the same day but if you choose to go with a hatchery you have to wait until they are ready to ship and then wait for the chicks to arrive. Ordering baby chicks online in Prospect Park Pennsylvania is easy and has always been a very pleasant experience of me. It can be a little frustrating waiting for the chicks but it's so worth the wait. When the post office calls and you hear all those little "cheeps" or "chirps" in the background you'll know the wait was worth it! How to Care for your new baby chickens in Prospect Park, Pennsylvania Baby chicks are quite charming and also hard to stand up to, yet it's finest to plan for their arrival before you get them. Prepare first by collecting not only the proper materials, however also the appropriate expertise to look after them. Raising baby chicks is fairly straightforward, you just need to provide them with the following: A tidy as well as warm habitat Plenty of food as well as water Interest and love Environment Your environment could be a basic box, aquarium, feline provider, or guinea porker cage. Line it with old towels and coverings (without any loose strings!) to begin, as well as after a few weeks utilize straw over paper. Keep in mind: Avoid using only newspaper or other slipper surfaces-- or your chicks legs could grow misshapen. You also need something to provide food and also water in, such as a chicken feeder and also water meal from the feed shop, or a pickle container lid for food as well as a family pet bird water dispenser from an animal store. Also, as the chicks grow older you can present a perch into the habitat to get them trained on setting down. Warmth To keep your chicks warm you should offer them with a heat resource. This could be as simple as a 100 watt light bulb in a reflective clamp style lamp from a hardware store, or an infrared reptile heat light bulb likewise work extremely well (my suggestion). Chicks need this heat 24/7 till their downy fluff is replaced with plumes (which can use up to 2 months). The recently hatched out require a temperature between 90 and 100 levels, as well as weekly this can be minimized by roughly 5 levels approximately. The warmth source ought to get on merely one side of the cage to enable chicks an array of temperature levels. The chicks are your ideal thermostat- if they are hiding in the other corner of your warmth lamp, you need to lower the temperature. If they are smothering each other under the heat (not just cuddling), you need to put some warmth. Housekeeping Tidiness is crucial and it keeps your chicks healthy and balanced. Be sure to transform the bed linen commonly as well as consistently provide tidy food as well as water Food as well as water. Chicks grow quite fast which needs plenty of tidy food and also water. Provide sufficient whatsoever times and inspect frequently to stop dehydrated and also starving chicks. Chick food is various than adult chicken food, and also it can be found in both medicated and non-medicated ranges. Feed chick food for the initial 2 months, after that change to a grower food (~ 17 % healthy protein) for one more 2 months, and afterwards to a slightly reduced healthy protein feed or a level feed (if you have levels). Soil Some chicks like to obtain a head start on taking filth bathrooms, while others won't occupy that activity till they are older. If you have the area in your chick enclosure, introduce a tray of sand or filth for them to bathe in. Interest and love There are a few advantages to spending time with your chicks. First of all, they will most likely bond with you and also not flee as grownups. Second, if you analyze your chicks daily and also watch their behavior, you could catch ailment or other problems previously. Keep an eye out for wheezing, hopping, or other undesirable indications. Be sure to also check out their poop, as looseness of the bowels could lead to matted plumes and obstructed cloaca. Lastly, it is important to keep an eye out for social problems, such as the smallest chick obtaining badgered. Empty nest disorder So your chicks are currently completely feathery as well as its time for them to leave the safety of your home and also relocate outside right into a cage. Look into our section on chicken cages to read more regarding cages and proper coop habitats.
