A Curly Hair Revolution by Mixed Chicks®

My hair is a real pain in the butt. I’m not of a multiracial descent, but tell that to my hair! It’s very coarse, very thick, wavy, frizzy and virtually has a mind of its own. I loathe my hair, yet stylists, and even a nurse recently in the OR, have always told me how gorgeous, and shiny it is. Though, they don’t care for it daily, so maybe they can appreciate it a little more than I can. ® reached out to us and asked if anyone wanted to try to out their hair care products, and I quickly said yes.

Mixed Chicks® has an entire line of goodies for everyone! Whether you’re black, white, asian, latin, or any mix of those and more, their products are for everyone! They have hair products such as shampoos, conditioners, leave in conditioners, and more. They have products for men and children as well! Mixed Chicks® also carries hair accessories, gifts, and even dolls! So many great items to choose from! For me, the best part was seeing that they are Vegan and Animal Cruelty Free. The animal cruelty is a big thing in my animal adoring family.

They sent me their of three. The set includes 2 ounces of their Shampoo, 2 ounces of Deep Conditioner, and 2 ounces of Leave In Conditioner. It even comes in a TSA friendly, see through, resealable bag, so it’s perfect for those on the go.

I tried the shampoo and deep conditioner the other night in the shower. I loved it. It was silky and smooth and the smell was amazing! After I got out, and got my hair all dried off, I then put some leave in conditioner into my ends, because they are always dry and tangled. I really liked it. It didn’t weigh heavy on my hair, and it was so much easier to brush it out. I always struggle to get my hair brushed, so it was nice to have a product that not only made it easier on me, but didn’t weigh my hair down and make it look greasy. I think I will be ordering bigger sized bottles, and setting this nice travel set aside for when we head to the beach this summer. We all know how salt water, sun and sand will damage your hair, so these will be a nice healing treatment for my tresses.

INTypically hatcheries online offer both standard breeds and bantams. Bantams are fun hardy little chickens, they lay tiny eggs that kids especially love collecting. Bantams typically weigh less than 2 pounds when full grown. Just like ordering anything online there are pros and cons to ordering baby chicks online. Pros of buying baby chicks in Laurel Indiana * Big Selection - If you are wanting a large variety of different chicken breeds and egg colors, you will find the best selection at an online hatchery. * Both Bantams and full sized chickens available * You get to choose what sex you want. Quantity - you must order a certain number of chicks. Typically hatcheries will require you buy a minimum of 25 chicks at a time. The number is necessary for the chicks survival during shipping. All 25 chicks are put in one small box without heat. They are crowded in the box and produce enough body heat to arrive in good shape. * The wait - If you choose to buy chicks from a feed store you will have them the same day but if you choose to go with a hatchery you have to wait until they are ready to ship and then wait for the chicks to arrive. Ordering baby chicks online in Laurel Indiana is easy and has always been a very pleasant experience of me. It can be a little frustrating waiting for the chicks but it's so worth the wait. When the post office calls and you hear all those little "cheeps" or "chirps" in the background you'll know the wait was worth it! How to Care for your new baby chickens in Laurel, Indiana Baby chicks are really charming as well as difficult to stand up to, however it's best to plan for their arrival prior to you get them. Prepare first by collecting not just the proper materials, however likewise the correct understanding to look after them. Raising baby chicks is reasonably simple, you simply need to supply them with the following: A clean and also cozy environment Plenty of food and also water Attention and also love Environment Your habitat could be a basic box, aquarium, cat provider, or guinea porker cage. Line it with old towels and also coverings (without loose strings!) to start, and after a couple of weeks utilize straw over paper. Keep in mind: Avoid making use of only paper or other sandal surface areas-- or your chicks legs could expand misshapen. You additionally require something to serve up food and water in, such as a chicken feeder as well as water recipe from the feed shop, or a pickle jar lid for food and a family pet bird water dispenser from an animal shop. Additionally, as the chicks grow older you could present a perch right into the environment to get them trained on perching. Heat To keep your chicks warm you have to offer them with a warmth resource. This could be as straightforward as a 100 watt light bulb in a reflective clamp style light from an equipment store, or an infrared reptile heat bulb additionally work effectively (my referral). Chicks need this warmth 24/7 till their downy fluff is replaced with feathers (which can use up to two months). The recently hatched need a temperature level in between 90 and 100 degrees, and every week this could be lowered by approximately 5 degrees or so. The warmth source must be on merely one side of the cage to enable chicks a variety of temperature levels. The chicks are your finest thermostat- if they are hiding in the opposite edge of your heat light, you need to minimize the temperature. If they are smothering each other under the warmth (not merely cuddling), you have to add some heat. House cleaning Sanitation is essential and it keeps your chicks healthy and balanced. Make sure to transform the bed linen typically as well as consistently supply tidy food as well as water Food and water. Chicks grow extremely fast which calls for lots of clean food and water. Provide enough in any way times and also examine usually to prevent dehydrated and hungry chicks. Chick food is various than adult chicken food, and it can be found in both medicated and non-medicated selections. Feed chick food for the initial 2 months, after that change to a grower food (~ 17 % protein) for an additional 2 months, and afterwards to a somewhat reduced healthy protein feed or a layer feed (if you have layers). Soil Some chicks prefer to obtain a running start on taking dirt bathrooms, while others won't use up that activity until they are older. If you have the room in your chick enclosure, introduce a tray of sand or filth for them to wash in. Interest and also love There are a couple of advantages to spending quality time with your chicks. First of all, they will most likely bond with you as well as not run away as adults. Second, if you examine your chicks daily and watch their actions, you could catch health problem or various other troubles previously. Watch out for hissing, hopping, or various other undesirable indications. Be sure to additionally take a look at their poop, as diarrhea could result in matted plumes and clogged cloaca. Finally, it is necessary to watch out for social issues, such as the tiniest chick getting picked on. Vacant nest disorder So your chicks are now fully feathery as well as its time for them to leave the safety of your house and also move outside right into a coop. Check out our area on chicken coops for more information regarding coops and proper coop environments.
