A Curly Hair Revolution by Mixed Chicks®

My hair is a real pain in the butt. I’m not of a multiracial descent, but tell that to my hair! It’s very coarse, very thick, wavy, frizzy and virtually has a mind of its own. I loathe my hair, yet stylists, and even a nurse recently in the OR, have always told me how gorgeous, and shiny it is. Though, they don’t care for it daily, so maybe they can appreciate it a little more than I can. ® reached out to us and asked if anyone wanted to try to out their hair care products, and I quickly said yes.

Mixed Chicks® has an entire line of goodies for everyone! Whether you’re black, white, asian, latin, or any mix of those and more, their products are for everyone! They have hair products such as shampoos, conditioners, leave in conditioners, and more. They have products for men and children as well! Mixed Chicks® also carries hair accessories, gifts, and even dolls! So many great items to choose from! For me, the best part was seeing that they are Vegan and Animal Cruelty Free. The animal cruelty is a big thing in my animal adoring family.

They sent me their of three. The set includes 2 ounces of their Shampoo, 2 ounces of Deep Conditioner, and 2 ounces of Leave In Conditioner. It even comes in a TSA friendly, see through, resealable bag, so it’s perfect for those on the go.

I tried the shampoo and deep conditioner the other night in the shower. I loved it. It was silky and smooth and the smell was amazing! After I got out, and got my hair all dried off, I then put some leave in conditioner into my ends, because they are always dry and tangled. I really liked it. It didn’t weigh heavy on my hair, and it was so much easier to brush it out. I always struggle to get my hair brushed, so it was nice to have a product that not only made it easier on me, but didn’t weigh my hair down and make it look greasy. I think I will be ordering bigger sized bottles, and setting this nice travel set aside for when we head to the beach this summer. We all know how salt water, sun and sand will damage your hair, so these will be a nice healing treatment for my tresses.

GATypically hatcheries online offer both standard breeds and bantams. Bantams are fun hardy little chickens, they lay tiny eggs that kids especially love collecting. Bantams typically weigh less than 2 pounds when full grown. Just like ordering anything online there are pros and cons to ordering baby chicks online. Pros of buying baby chicks in Rydal Georgia * Big Selection - If you are wanting a large variety of different chicken breeds and egg colors, you will find the best selection at an online hatchery. * Both Bantams and full sized chickens available * You get to choose what sex you want. Quantity - you must order a certain number of chicks. Typically hatcheries will require you buy a minimum of 25 chicks at a time. The number is necessary for the chicks survival during shipping. All 25 chicks are put in one small box without heat. They are crowded in the box and produce enough body heat to arrive in good shape. * The wait - If you choose to buy chicks from a feed store you will have them the same day but if you choose to go with a hatchery you have to wait until they are ready to ship and then wait for the chicks to arrive. Ordering baby chicks online in Rydal Georgia is easy and has always been a very pleasant experience of me. It can be a little frustrating waiting for the chicks but it's so worth the wait. When the post office calls and you hear all those little "cheeps" or "chirps" in the background you'll know the wait was worth it! How to Care for your new baby chickens in Rydal, Georgia Baby chicks are really adorable and tough to resist, however it's ideal to plan for their arrival before you get them. Prepare first by collecting not just the appropriate products, but likewise the correct knowledge to care for them. Raising baby chicks is reasonably straightforward, you simply should provide them with the following: A clean and also warm environment Lots of food as well as water Interest and love Habitat Your habitat can be a straightforward box, aquarium, cat carrier, or guinea porker cage. Line it with old towels as well as blankets (without any loose strings!) to start, and also after a couple of weeks utilize straw over newspaper. Note: Avoid utilizing just paper or other slipper surfaces-- or your chicks legs could grow misshapen. You additionally require something to dish out food and water in, such as a chicken feeder as well as water dish from the feed shop, or a pickle container cover for food and a pet dog bird water dispenser from a family pet store. Likewise, as the chicks get older you could introduce a perch right into the environment to obtain them educated on perching. Heat To keep your chicks warm you have to supply them with a warmth source. This can be as simple as a 100 watt light bulb in a reflective clamp design lamp from a hardware shop, or an infrared reptile warmth bulb likewise function effectively (my recommendation). Chicks require this heat 24/7 till their downy fluff is replaced with feathers (which could use up to two months). The freshly hatched require a temperature in between 90 as well as 100 levels, and every week this can be decreased by around 5 degrees or so. The warmth source ought to get on simply one side of the cage to allow chicks an array of temperature levels. The chicks are your finest thermostat- if they are concealing in the contrary corner of your heat lamp, you have to lower the temperature level. If they are smothering each various other under the heat (not just snuggling), you should add some warmth. Housekeeping Sanitation is key and also it maintains your chicks healthy and balanced. Make certain to alter the bed linen usually and consistently give clean food as well as water Food as well as water. Chicks expand extremely fast which calls for lots of tidy food and water. Give enough at all times and also check usually to stop thirsty as well as hungry chicks. Chick food is different than adult chicken food, and it is available in both medicated and non-medicated varieties. Feed chick food for the initial two months, after that switch to a raiser food (~ 17 % healthy protein) for another 2 months, and after that to a somewhat lower healthy protein feed or a layer feed (if you have levels). Dirt Some chicks prefer to obtain a head start on taking dust bathrooms, while others won't take up that task till they are older. If you have the space in your chick unit, introduce a tray of sand or dust for them to wash in. Focus and also love There are a couple of benefits to spending time with your chicks. Firstly, they will most likely bond with you and not flee as grownups. Second, if you examine your chicks daily as well as view their habits, you can catch illness or other problems previously. Keep an eye out for wheezing, limping, or various other unhealthy indications. Make certain to likewise consider their poop, as diarrhea can cause matted feathers and also clogged cloaca. Lastly, it is very important to keep an eye out for social concerns, such as the smallest chick obtaining teased. Vacant nest syndrome So your chicks are now fully feathered and also its time for them to leave the safety and security of your home and move outside right into a cage. Take a look at our area on chicken coops to get more information concerning coops and correct coop environments.
