A Curly Hair Revolution by Mixed Chicks®

My hair is a real pain in the butt. I’m not of a multiracial descent, but tell that to my hair! It’s very coarse, very thick, wavy, frizzy and virtually has a mind of its own. I loathe my hair, yet stylists, and even a nurse recently in the OR, have always told me how gorgeous, and shiny it is. Though, they don’t care for it daily, so maybe they can appreciate it a little more than I can. ® reached out to us and asked if anyone wanted to try to out their hair care products, and I quickly said yes.

Mixed Chicks® has an entire line of goodies for everyone! Whether you’re black, white, asian, latin, or any mix of those and more, their products are for everyone! They have hair products such as shampoos, conditioners, leave in conditioners, and more. They have products for men and children as well! Mixed Chicks® also carries hair accessories, gifts, and even dolls! So many great items to choose from! For me, the best part was seeing that they are Vegan and Animal Cruelty Free. The animal cruelty is a big thing in my animal adoring family.

They sent me their of three. The set includes 2 ounces of their Shampoo, 2 ounces of Deep Conditioner, and 2 ounces of Leave In Conditioner. It even comes in a TSA friendly, see through, resealable bag, so it’s perfect for those on the go.

I tried the shampoo and deep conditioner the other night in the shower. I loved it. It was silky and smooth and the smell was amazing! After I got out, and got my hair all dried off, I then put some leave in conditioner into my ends, because they are always dry and tangled. I really liked it. It didn’t weigh heavy on my hair, and it was so much easier to brush it out. I always struggle to get my hair brushed, so it was nice to have a product that not only made it easier on me, but didn’t weigh my hair down and make it look greasy. I think I will be ordering bigger sized bottles, and setting this nice travel set aside for when we head to the beach this summer. We all know how salt water, sun and sand will damage your hair, so these will be a nice healing treatment for my tresses.

Pros of buying baby chicks in Peoria Arizona * Big Selection - If you are wanting a large variety of different chicken breeds and egg colors, you will find the best selection at an online hatchery. * Both Bantams and full sized chickens available * You get to choose what sex you want. Quantity - you must order a certain number of chicks. Typically hatcheries will require you buy a minimum of 25 chicks at a time. The number is necessary for the chicks survival during shipping. All 25 chicks are put in one small box without heat. They are crowded in the box and produce enough body heat to arrive in good shape. * The wait - If you choose to buy chicks from a feed store you will have them the same day but if you choose to go with a hatchery you have to wait until they are ready to ship and then wait for the chicks to arrive. Ordering baby chicks online in Peoria Arizona is easy and has always been a very pleasant experience of me. It can be a little frustrating waiting for the chicks but it's so worth the wait. When the post office calls and you hear all those little "cheeps" or "chirps" in the background you'll know the wait was worth it! How to Care for your new baby chickens in Peoria, Arizona Baby chicks are very charming and also tough to stand up to, but it's best to plan for their arrival prior to you obtain them. Prepare initially by collecting not just the correct products, however also the correct understanding to look after them. Raising baby chicks is fairly easy, you merely have to give them with the following: A clean as well as warm and comfortable environment Lots of food as well as water Interest as well as love Environment Your environment could be a basic box, aquarium, pet cat service provider, or guinea porker cage. Line it with old towels as well as coverings (with no loose strings!) to begin, as well as after a few weeks utilize straw over paper. Note: Avoid utilizing just newspaper or other sandal surface areas-- or your chicks legs could expand misshapen. You additionally need something to serve up food and also water in, such as a chicken feeder and also water recipe from the feed store, or a pickle container cover for food as well as a family pet bird water dispenser from a family pet shop. Also, as the chicks age you can present a perch into the environment to obtain them trained on perching. Heat To keep your chicks warm you should supply them with a warmth source. This can be as simple as a 100 watt light bulb in a reflective clamp design light from an equipment store, or an infrared reptile warmth bulb also work effectively (my suggestion). Chicks need this warmth 24/7 till their downy fluff is changed with plumes (which can use up to two months). The recently hatched out need a temperature between 90 and 100 degrees, as well as weekly this can be decreased by about 5 degrees or so. The heat source should be on just one side of the cage to permit chicks a variety of temperature levels. The chicks are your best thermostat- if they are hiding in the other corner of your heat light, you should minimize the temperature. If they are surrounding each various other under the warmth (not merely snuggling), you need to include some heat. Home cleaning Cleanliness is key as well as it maintains your chicks healthy. Be sure to alter the bed linen usually as well as consistently supply clean food and also water Food as well as water. Chicks grow extremely quickly which needs a lot of tidy food and water. Give enough at all times and also check often to stop dehydrated and also starving chicks. Chick food is various compared to grown-up chicken food, and also it can be found in both medicated and non-medicated varieties. Feed chick food for the first two months, after that change to a grower food (~ 17 % protein) for one more 2 months, and then to a somewhat reduced protein feed or a level feed (if you have layers). Dirt Some chicks like to obtain a head start on taking filth baths, while others will not take up that task until they are older. If you have the room in your chick unit, present a tray of sand or dust for them to wash in. Focus as well as love There are a few benefits to spending quality time with your chicks. First off, they will certainly more than likely bond with you and not escape as grownups. Second, if you analyze your chicks daily as well as see their behavior, you could catch ailment or other problems previously. Keep an eye out for wheezing, hopping, or other undesirable indicators. Make sure to also consider their poop, as looseness of the bowels can cause matted plumes and also clogged up cloaca. Finally, it is necessary to watch out for social issues, such as the smallest chick getting teased. Empty nest syndrome So your chicks are currently fully feathery as well as its time for them to leave the security of your house as well as relocate outside right into a cage. Look into our section on chicken coops to read more about cages and also appropriate coop environments.
