A Curly Hair Revolution by Mixed Chicks®

My hair is a real pain in the butt. I’m not of a multiracial descent, but tell that to my hair! It’s very coarse, very thick, wavy, frizzy and virtually has a mind of its own. I loathe my hair, yet stylists, and even a nurse recently in the OR, have always told me how gorgeous, and shiny it is. Though, they don’t care for it daily, so maybe they can appreciate it a little more than I can. ® reached out to us and asked if anyone wanted to try to out their hair care products, and I quickly said yes.

Mixed Chicks® has an entire line of goodies for everyone! Whether you’re black, white, asian, latin, or any mix of those and more, their products are for everyone! They have hair products such as shampoos, conditioners, leave in conditioners, and more. They have products for men and children as well! Mixed Chicks® also carries hair accessories, gifts, and even dolls! So many great items to choose from! For me, the best part was seeing that they are Vegan and Animal Cruelty Free. The animal cruelty is a big thing in my animal adoring family.

They sent me their of three. The set includes 2 ounces of their Shampoo, 2 ounces of Deep Conditioner, and 2 ounces of Leave In Conditioner. It even comes in a TSA friendly, see through, resealable bag, so it’s perfect for those on the go.

I tried the shampoo and deep conditioner the other night in the shower. I loved it. It was silky and smooth and the smell was amazing! After I got out, and got my hair all dried off, I then put some leave in conditioner into my ends, because they are always dry and tangled. I really liked it. It didn’t weigh heavy on my hair, and it was so much easier to brush it out. I always struggle to get my hair brushed, so it was nice to have a product that not only made it easier on me, but didn’t weigh my hair down and make it look greasy. I think I will be ordering bigger sized bottles, and setting this nice travel set aside for when we head to the beach this summer. We all know how salt water, sun and sand will damage your hair, so these will be a nice healing treatment for my tresses.

ALTypically hatcheries online offer both standard breeds and bantams. Bantams are fun hardy little chickens, they lay tiny eggs that kids especially love collecting. Bantams typically weigh less than 2 pounds when full grown. Just like ordering anything online there are pros and cons to ordering baby chicks online. Pros of buying baby chicks in Panola Alabama * Big Selection - If you are wanting a large variety of different chicken breeds and egg colors, you will find the best selection at an online hatchery. * Both Bantams and full sized chickens available * You get to choose what sex you want. Quantity - you must order a certain number of chicks. Typically hatcheries will require you buy a minimum of 25 chicks at a time. The number is necessary for the chicks survival during shipping. All 25 chicks are put in one small box without heat. They are crowded in the box and produce enough body heat to arrive in good shape. * The wait - If you choose to buy chicks from a feed store you will have them the same day but if you choose to go with a hatchery you have to wait until they are ready to ship and then wait for the chicks to arrive. Ordering baby chicks online in Panola Alabama is easy and has always been a very pleasant experience of me. It can be a little frustrating waiting for the chicks but it's so worth the wait. When the post office calls and you hear all those little "cheeps" or "chirps" in the background you'll know the wait was worth it! How to Care for your new baby chickens in Panola, Alabama Baby chicks are very charming as well as hard to withstand, however it's best to plan for their arrival prior to you obtain them. Prepare initially by collecting not just the right materials, however also the appropriate understanding to care for them. Raising baby chicks is reasonably straightforward, you just need to offer them with the following: A clean as well as cozy habitat Lots of food and water Attention as well as love Habitat Your habitat could be a basic box, fish tank, pet cat provider, or guinea pig cage. Line it with old towels and also coverings (without any loosened strings!) to begin, and also after a few weeks use straw over newspaper. Keep in mind: Avoid using only paper or other slipper surfaces-- or your chicks legs can expand misshapen. You additionally require something to serve up food and also water in, such as a chicken feeder and also water meal from the feed shop, or a pickle jar lid for food as well as an animal bird water dispenser from a pet dog shop. Likewise, as the chicks age you can introduce a perch into the habitat to obtain them educated on perching. Warmth To keep your chicks heat you need to offer them with a heat source. This can be as basic as a 100 watt light bulb in a reflective clamp style lamp from an equipment shop, or an infrared reptile warmth bulb also function extremely well (my recommendation). Chicks require this heat 24/7 till their downy fluff is replaced with feathers (which could use up to 2 months). The freshly hatched out require a temperature between 90 and also 100 degrees, and weekly this could be decreased by about 5 levels approximately. The warmth resource must be on just one side of the cage to enable chicks an array of temperature levels. The chicks are your best thermostat- if they are hiding in the other corner of your warmth lamp, you have to reduce the temperature level. If they are smothering each other under the heat (not simply snuggling), you should include some heat. House cleaning Cleanliness is vital as well as it maintains your chicks healthy and balanced. Be sure to alter the bedding frequently and constantly supply clean food and also water Food and water. Chicks grow quite quickly which requires a lot of clean food and also water. Give enough at all times and also examine frequently to prevent dehydrated and hungry chicks. Chick food is various than adult chicken food, and it is available in both medicated and non-medicated selections. Feed chick food for the very first two months, then switch over to a raiser food (~ 17 % protein) for one more 2 months, and after that to a somewhat reduced protein feed or a layer feed (if you have levels). Dirt Some chicks like to get a head start on taking dust baths, while others will not occupy that activity up until they are older. If you have the space in your chick room, introduce a tray of sand or dust for them to bathe in. Interest as well as love There are a few advantages to hanging out with your chicks. To start with, they will certainly most likely bond with you as well as not run away as grownups. Second, if you examine your chicks daily as well as see their habits, you could catch health problem or various other troubles previously. Keep an eye out for hissing, hopping, or other undesirable indications. Be sure to also check out their poop, as diarrhea could bring about matted plumes as well as blocked cloaca. Finally, it is important to look out for social problems, such as the smallest chick obtaining teased. Empty nest disorder So your chicks are currently completely feathery as well as its time for them to leave the security of your home and move outside right into a coop. Have a look at our area on chicken coops to find out more about coops as well as appropriate cage environments.
